GAS LINE
INSPECTION & WARRANTY
Benchmark Labs offers a one year warranty
for gas line leakage for natural gas as well
as propane lines. Our Inspectors use
“electronic sniffers” to check all the gas
lines from the
from the gas meter/propane tank to the
connections at the appliances, fireplaces,
frills, etc. Gas wells are not covered. We
do not conduct pressure tests. Natural gas
service lines are not covered.
If any leaks are found at the initial
inspection, they must be repaired in order
for the warranty to go into effect. The
repair needs to be made by a D.O.T.
Certified plumber. The one year warranty
will be issued by Benchmark Labs upon
receipt of confirmation of repair.
Gas utilities must be turned on prior to
inspection and warranty. A trip fee of
$25.00 will be charged for any ordered
inspection that cannot be performed due to a
gas line being shut off or locked off.
